Arrived Yangon, 4 hrs a delay

We arrived Yangon after a long 11 hrs ride. Fortunately the bus was comfortable. We praised God for His protection and headed to Swer Pu Zun for a nice breakfast. This is one of the perks of coming to Myanmar on a mission trip. A quiet garden with captivating landscape and with good and cheap food. Yet to see such a cozy place like this in Singapore. George and Patrick enjoyed the ambiance and the service.

We arrived MTC at about 8 am and it was nice to meet old friends again.

Our next program was the visit to San Hin Mi village in the outskirts of Thanlyn. About 20 adults and 15 children gathered for the meeting. Bro Patrick Lim shared a moving testimony about his life and how God helped him in his lowest moments in life. The village people were able to relate very much to his testimony. Many people responded to the altar call.
Church planters and their families
Much humbled by the faith of these simple people who in spite of their many difficulties continue to trust God.

Pst Kyaw Kyaw requested us to build a temporary shed for worship as the size of people attending the Sunday morning service is sometime beyond 50 people.

The plan to relocate these believers still keeps ringing in my ears.
