Stress Management Talk at Westlite Dormitory

PEComcare organised another event for Telugu speaking workers at the Westlite dormitory on Sat 23 Apr. This is another project by Praise Evangelical Church to be the "salt and light", reaching out to people who are hurting and depressed. About 40 workers attended this talk and we are indeed thankful to Rev Jack Sin, pastor of Sovereign Hope Bible Presbyterian Church, Singapore for facilitating the talk. The workers were given a dinner pack and also a goody bag in appreciation of their  services  to our country. We thank God for the opportunity to reach out to these workers in Singapore.

Another new village reached with the gospel

Image
I was  excited  to receive another report from our workers in the field. This one from Bishop Anjan, Odisha. He and his team have been reaching unreached villages with the gospel and my heart  skipped  a  heart  to read this text from him. "Praise the Lord sir,                        Today we visited another new village on the top of the mountain in between Rayagada & Kandmal Dist. Today's trip was really a great joyful one. We preached the gospel to the villagers and they responded positively. We shared the word of God to them. They have requested us to visit them again . We hope surely these villagers will come to the Lord soon .                                       Sir it's my kind request to you to please pray for the team work & for the people who have listened God's word and also to start here Jeevonjyoti program .                                          Thank you so much sir for your love , care , prayer & support. Celebrating Jeya's birthday in Connecticut, USA

Image
Today we celebrated Jeya's birthday at a quiet family restaurant, in Glastonbury, Connecticut. The weather was beautiful but the wind made it cold, in spite of the sun shinning brightly.  Why can't we have this kind of weather in Singapore?? Keep on dreaming.... Jessica was with us to celebrate  this time. Looking at her and how she carried herself, made me thank God for His grace and kindness on our lives and our children. We really can't ask for more. I think Jeya enjoyed the day. I thank God for her. Life would have never been the same without her. Our journey has been one special "God ordained" which most would not have seen or been. Through it all we have seen God's grace, His faithfulness and favour and souls added to the Kingdom of God. It was tough but it was with it.

It was really a wonderful moment to all of us.                                                          I'm thankful & grateful to God for giving us this opportunity to conduct this program .             Thank you so much sir for supporting this youth meeting .  Thank you sir" I am really happy to see so many youth committing their lives to God.  Praying that everyone of them will be a  highly  instrument in the hands of the living God.
