Last Saturday we had a baptism service for Bro Christu Dass who has been attending our Tamil evening service. He contract expires this week and he has to do back to India. He accepted the Lord while working in Spore and wants to get baptised before going back. Although we had small group to witness the occasion, it was a glorious time at the Sembawang beach. Praise God.

Help needed for our boys' home in Odisha

Image
We are putting up a building for the boys in Odisha. Its our Shadrach Home Odisha. By God's grace and providence we have laid the foundations and the pillars. We need another 7 lakhs or Sing $15,000 to complete it. The cost is high because of strict government regulations for the constructions of children's homes. We want to dedicate this building during our visit in Oct. Please et me know f you want to invest in Gd's kingdom and nature these boys.

Great Camp

Image
We had four wonderful days of  encounter with God. In fact all the campers said how much they have been blessed. God did indeed minster to individuals and had a prophetic word for some. I believe that PEC will move on to greater heights after this camp, Witnessed some new faces in leadership positions. Very impressed and am at peace to know PEC has the second and third level of leadership in place. It only shows that when one steps in to fulfil their God given role, God will quip them. How true the statement. "God does not call the equipped but equips the called".  Back home. The jam in the causeway was not bad as expected. Working tonight. It's also father day.  Proud of my dad. He made the sacrifices for us and doing we are repeating the fruit son his labour. To God be the glory.

1st session in camp

Image
We had a good service tonight. The Lord is already doing a work amongst the campers. Pst Palmer talked about having an encounter with God, just by being in His presence. God is not interested in human doings, but human beings. Just being in His presence. One takeaway from today's session was when Pst Palmer made us to think. "If God was to ask us, "Tell me one thing that would give me God the greatest satisfaction? BE IN MY PRESENCE AND ENJOY IT.

Church Camp 2017

Its our annual church camp and its starts today. Its taking place just across the causeway, Johore Baru and in one of the best hotels, Double Tree Hilton.  But getting here took us almost two hours, just to cover about 5km. Its school holidays and all the families are making their way to Malaysia for the break. The traffic was terrible.  The theme for this year's camp is "Revive and Evangelise".  So thankful to God that a team of dedicated people in PEC have planned this camp. The speaker is Rev David Palmer from Australia. I believe that God has brought him here with a message. Looking forward to a great time with the Lord and with our people.

Social project - Cleaning the neighbourhood

Image
T his morning, 30 members from PEC helped the neighbourhood committee to pick litter. This is our way of showing we care for the community. Old and young joined in their protect and we had fun. This is the first time we are doing this and the response was good and enriching. Hope to do this at least once a month. After an hour of picking litter, we adjourned for breakfast at our favourite  restaurant. "And it was loud"

HIAAM PJU National Seminar

Image
I am at KLIA2, waiting for my flight back to Singapore. Yesterday and today I was in Amara Hotel, PJ, facilitating Biblical Mandate for 17 participants. Participants were generally reserved but towards the last season they become cordial. Praising God for the opportunity to be there. It was also a time to catchup with old friends. Last night met Pst Pathi, his wife and son. It was so good to know the BethanyLife will be spearheading a work in Agra in the days to come. All praise and Glory tp God. Pst Stephen Chandra Mohan drove me back to the airport and we had a good time catching up on many issues. Its so good to be with people who have a real heart for the Lord and evangelism.

Baby Dedication

Image
I touched down Changi Airport today at 0945 hrs, after 9 hrs of transit and flight from Hyderabad. Why so long? That's another story. Hardly slept in the flight this time. Thanks to Bro Rubern who fetched me straight to church. Today is the Baby dedication of Ajit and Jacqueline's baby girl Gia Atara George. What a joy is was to dedicate this lovely baby for the glory of God. The ceremony was simple jet dignified by the presence of the Lord and family and friends. Praise God from whom all blessings flow. Soo good to see the church coming together to bless this beautiful baby. Jaya has been appointed as "God-mother"

Bishop Ordination and Church Planters graduation

Image
It was another historic moment for PEC. Today we had the first consecration service of a Bishop under the PEC India umbrella. Rev Samuel Sharma was conferred the title of Bishop for his outstanding work of planting churches and training church planters in North East India. It was my joy to witness the ceremony. Praising God for al that He is enabling us to do. So we have two Bishops now. Bishop Nehemiah got his ordination from another organisation in Telangana. We also saw the graduation of 22 church planters who had gone through the six months training program. This is the 30th batch of church planters.  Earlier in the morning I shared the Word to our church planters and pastors from AP and Telangana.  This is the monthly meeting where our workers come together for prayer and fellowship. It was a joy to meet these men of God and to hear how God is blessing the ministry inspire of the many challengers in the mission field.  The previous two days of teaching wen on we
