New partners for the dormitory outreach

Image
This evening we went back to the dormitory to meet the new contacts we had established over the weeks. We were pleasantly surprised to see them eating for us. They were so happy that we are coming over to meet them and also for supplying to their physical needs. They were sharing their life in Singapore and we assured that that we are here for them Later in the night I gathered with a group my men from different churches who were keen to reach the migrant community. We planned for out next social project in the Westlite dormitory. I really thank God for like-minded young men who are passionate to sacrifice their time and resources for the kingdom of God,

Another unreached village in Odisha

Image
Today I receive the following text from Bishop Anjan that uplifted by spirit. "Dear sir ,  This village is called Sagdi. PEC is the first team to reach this village with gospel. This is 4000 feet high from sea level & 20 kms from Bishamkata. There are total 15 houses. 27 children are there in this village and no one goes to school because the the school is 7 km from their home.  And more over that there is no road to this village. Our church planters pastor Diwakara & Arjun visited this village & share the gospel to them.  I'm extremely happy to know that PEC is reaching the unreached areas .     These ladies are all widows, their husbands died due to heavy drinking. We are really grateful to PEC for supporting and upholding us in prayers. We are praying & requesting you sir to please take an urgent step to start a tuition center here and for gospel work .                                                Thank you so much sir . We are going there again next week

36th wedding anniversary

Marriage is an important decision in life and I am glad I made the right choice, God's choice. Yes we can marry anyone and live the "normal christian life" but only the right one whom God has ordained will end up fulfilling God's purpose and plans in the marriage covenant for that couple. I know of many people who's spiritual life lost its lustre after marriage. Living the christian life -YES but not the optimum live intended. Some even comfort themselves by calling it Plan B. That does not mean that we are perfect. We have our own quarrels and fights but the underlying love for each other only goes stronger and synergised to fulfil His purposes.  I thank God for my wife. A person in whom there is no guile. She may not agree with all the I do, but she standby me even in my foolish decisions, submitting to God for His will to be done. I would say to her, " Life would have never been the same without you and I would not exchange it for the world." I can&

Baptisms at Shadrach Home Myanmar

Image
What a great joy to know that 9 teenagers took water baptism last week at the Shadrach Home in Myanmar. I am so blessed to see that our investment into the Kingdom of God is bearing real fruits. Pst John Phongshar who visited them had two days of teaching for them. He reported that the children are all doing well. Some of the children could not go to school due to Covid and the current political situation. we are praying that they will resume the schooling in coming academic year. We praise God for all that He is doing through the Shadrach Home and are grateful to God for the sponsors and the prayers warriors. May all of these children grow up to be fine man and woman of God doing nightly exploits for His Kingdom.

Today I had the opportunity to speak online at Singapore Charismatic Church. The topic given to me was Seeking the Lord our God". I highlighted three reasons why we need to seek God: Seek God to be overwhelmed by God's Presence. Seek God to  be overwhelmed by God's  Purpose. Seek God when overwhelmed by Life's Pursuits.  Thanking God for the opportunity

Nepal church planters training continues

Image
Today we began the first  church planters training program for the year 2022 via zoom. Yesterday we did the opening session and I shared the Word from Mark 4 : Don't lose focus. We have 14 students for this semester from different parts of Nepal.  The first session for this year is on Church Planting and its taken by Bishop Samuel Sharma, PEC Coordinator from North East India.  We thank God for the sponsor and all who are working behind the scenes to see this happen. God is good indeed. Glory to His name.

Don't let trouble makers trouble you

Philippians 1:15-19  It is true that some preach Christ out of envy and rivalry, but others out of goodwill. 16  The latter do so out of love, knowing that I am put here for the defense of the gospel.  17  The former preach Christ out of selfish ambition, not sincerely, supposing that they can stir up trouble for me while I am in chains.  18  But what does it matter? The important thing is that in every way, whether from false motives or true, Christ is preached. And because of this I rejoice.  Yes, and I will continue to rejoice,   19  for I know that through your prayers and God’s provision of the Spirit of Jesus Christ what has happened to me will turn out for my deliverance. Just like Paul, we also have  trouble  makers in our lives. Some of them are bent on  evil  but most of them do it without realising it. Worst they think they are doing in under the "influence of the Holy Spirit". "Holy anger" as some all it. The p harisees  of old would fall in this class.
