Haggai Coimbatore Alumni Association Virtual Retreat

Image
It was my pleasure to be the guest speaker for the retreat. About 35 Haggai alumni attended the 3 hr session. It was good to meet likeminded leaders with a passion to end gospel poverty. I spoke on the topic "Launch into the deep". The feedback after the session was good. One brother texted me with the following message, "Dear Brother Thank you sooooo much for stirring up my heart and passion to  evangelise  once again. We as participants are truly blessed. Praises be to God. Let know how I can be of some help or support to the wonderful you are doing here in India. God willing we shall work together in the days ahead." To God be the glory

CP Training Program in Myanmar

Image
It was my privilege to conduct the course on the Great Commission to the students in the Church Planters Training Program. After 3 years we have restarted this program. It was delayed due to Covid 19.  But we thank God that we are able to start this program this month.   Its is being conducted at MTC, Yangon from 19-22 Jul.. We have 8 student in this course. I am thankful to Pst John Phongshar and his wife Seng Mai for organising and being the translator for me.  Indeed the Lord has given us many "good and faithful man" to partner with us in ending gospel poverty.

Another church dedication at Sonada, Darjeeling today.

What a joy to see he pictures and watch live the church  dedication of this church in Sonada, Darjeeling. Pst Abishek and his wife Christine have been wailing every week for at least an hour through forest tracts to reach this village. This has been happening for the last 2-3 years and today we are seeing the fruits of their labour.  Their passion is to reach this village for Jesus.   This new building was sponsored by Bro James and his wife. Many people in this village are coming for the worship service and my heart was simply overjoyed to see the pictures. I can imagine the celebration in heaven.    But there's is more to be done. Many more villages to be reached. Help us to reach these villages for Christ. To God be the glory.

Coord meeting for proposed CP Training Centre in Nepal

Today we had a discussion with a group of pastors who are keen to start a church planters training program in Nepal. Dr Mike Ong, a missionary from Singapore is the main person to coordinate this project.  I met Dr Ong through Bro James Ng and soon the idea of CP training in Nepal surfaced. God willing we may soon start a Church Planters Training Program in Nepal.

Ezra 9:1-4 - After these things had been done, the leaders came to me and said, “The people of Israel, including the priests and the Levites, have not kept themselves separate   from the neighboring peoples with their detestable practices, like those of the Canaanites, Hittites, Perizzites, Jebusites,   Ammonites,   Moabites,   Egyptians and Amorites.   2  They have taken some of their daughters as wives for themselves and their sons, and have mingled the holy race with the peoples around them. And the leaders and officials have led the way in this unfaithfulness.”   3  When I heard this, I tore   my tunic and cloak, pulled hair from my head and beard and sat down appalled.   4  Then everyone who trembled at the words of the God of Israel gathered around me because of this unfaithfulness of the exiles. And I sat there appalled until the evening sacrifice. "In the secular world of business, compromise is not a dirty word (HARVARD BUSINESS REVIEW). Brokers compromise to seal the d
