Birthday celebration

Image
Today we had the privilege of celebrating mother and son's birthday which fell on the same date. What's so special about this birthday is that Sis Tangam was so sick for the whole of last year that she lost so much weight and was in the ICU. Many thought she would not make it Even doctors did not have much hope. But praise God, He healed her and she is perfectly well today. It was my joy to bless Sis Tangam and Sam on their birthdays. God is our healer and He heals even today. Faith in the Lord Jesus Christ and He heals.  Good food too and fellowship with some of our church  members. To God be the glory

Preaching assignment

T his morning I had the opportunity to share the Word via zoom to His Arrow Church . More than 60 people joined via the link. The topic was What happens when God disapproves a man and the text was taken from  1 Sam 16 : 14 – 23. After the meeting I rushed to PEC for the Tamil service. Today is Sis Selina's last day of being in the worship team here before she  travels  to India this coming week for her delivery,  Selina and her  husband   Reegan  have been a blessing to PEC. Selina's  gentleness  and  humility   distinguishes her from the crowd. A servant worshipper and always committed in her service to the Lord. We wish them well. We praise God for this family and prayed for a safe and normal delivery of her dear baby. We will miss her...(for a while)

Sunday morning service

2 Chronicles 16:9 -  For the eyes  of the  Lord  range throughout the earth to strengthen those whose hearts are fully committed to him. It was a joy for me to minster in our PEC in Singapore. The title for my sharing is "The person God is looking for".  God is looking for a person who is fully committed or who follows Him wholeheartedly. And God wants to bless such a person.  He wants to strengthen (or fully support) such a person. That means God wants to bless every areas of such a person's life, one who is fully committed to Him. This verse was made in reference to King Asa who for the first part of his life served God full heartedly.   I looked at the life of King Asa to see what does following God wholeheartedly looks like. In his seeking God, I noted four important areas that we must consider seriously to see if we too are wholeheartedly following the Lord: His Repentance to God His Reliance on God His Respect for God's prophetic voice His Resolution with God Th
