I had two days of meetings with "His Masterpiece Church" in Nigeria. I spoke on the Mandate for Evangelism. The pastor of the church is Pst Rotimi Oyekunle, who I meet in Maui last year. Many were blessed and I was blessed too. Thanking God for all the opportunities that are coming across my way. It's only because of Him. To God be the glory

This evening I had the privilege of speaking via zoom at a prayer meeting in Medan. My friend, Pst Margaret from Kadosh church Medan,, invited me to speak on prayer. People from Singapore, Indonesia, India attended the service.  I am thankful that even during this time of restricted travel, God has open doors for me to share His Word. I spoke of having priority in the life of a Christian.

Today I spoke on the topic  “Made complete in Him” and the text was taken from Col 1:15-20, 2: 9-10. Paul was addressing the heresy that has crept into the church. The heresy: Detracted from the person and work of Christ Based on human philosophy and traditions of men. Contained certain Jewish or Judaistic elements Paul refuted these false  doctrine by teaching in Col 2:9-10 -    For in Christ all the fullness of the Deity lives in bodily form, 10  and in Christ you have been brought to fullnes s. He is the head over every power and authority.  (NIV) Christ is Sovereign (Supreme) Christ is sufficient, more than sufficient: Because Jesus is sovereign, He is sufficient, I am strong https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lXMcXgknM70&t=2534s

Another opportunity

Image
On Thursday night, I had the opportunity to give an over view of the Biblical Mandate subject that I do at HI. The audience were from the region, mostly pastors and leaders who meet on a regular  basis for teaching sessions conducted by Rev Gerald Seow, the founder of MOD TV. Through Sis Norma, we were able to get airtime on this channel to view our Haggai curriculum and let leaders know how the HLE can impact one's life. More than 40 participants viewed the program and the feedback was good.  To God be the gloey

Promise verse for Jul 2020 - Psalms 34:8

Image
Bro Babu James shared on this verse this morning.  Psalms 34:1 -  I will bless the Lord at all times" - A great exercise of praising the Lord at all time, giving Him glory at all times. Psalms 34:2   - "I will glory in the Lord" - Giving God praise in every situation Psalms 34:6 - This poor man cried and the Lord heard him. The angle of the Lord is around those who fear Him. We can only do this when we have tasted the Lord and seen His goodness. Then it will be easy to praise him in every situation.  God has seen us through the last six months. Many have died because of Covid 19 but the Lord has preserved us. God is powerful enough, marvelous enough, wonderful enough to see us through in the months to come. All you need to do is to taste the Lord and God will indeed be enough for us in any situation.  Psalms 34:10 - The lions may grow weak and hungry,  but those who seek the   Lord   lack no good thing.
