Flying back home

Image
I departed Ulaan Baatar early this morning and am now in the transit gate in Hong Kong. My connection is at 2:30 PM.  Brothers Bbold and Hinti picked me up at 4:20AM and sent me to the airport. It had been a wonderful trip. Met some good people. I was encouraged to see how some of the brothers and sisters in Mongolia are pressing on for Christ, in spite of the difficulties and challenges. Mine is incomparable.  It was also good to out in nature. Not planned at all but the Lord made it happen.  It has indeed been a time of refreshing both spiritually and physically. My legs a re still wobbling after the steep climb yesterday. Now back to reality again

Free day in Ulaan Bataar

Image
Henti invited me for breakfast and later to his office. He and his wife are working amongst the street people, especially the prostitutes. They help them with a new trade and also introduce them to Christ. I was asked to share in their morning devotion. Was particularly moved to some of these ladies and the challenges that face this ministry. Praise God for people like Hinti and his wife who have a heart for the disposed in society.     Later in the day Henti, his wife and another brother took me to visit the Terelj National Park. It was majestic and a wonder to behold. After a great lunch we tracked up a steep hill. Quite slippery at times but we made up to the top and came down safely. It was a breaking view from the top of the steep hill. Now my knees are wobbly.  Thanking God for the opportunity to be with good people and in a good place.

HI National Seminar in Ulaan Baatar, Mongolia

I arrived Ulaan Baatar last night about 2300 hrs, after 10 hrs if flight and transits. Two brothers Bolt and Henti, were at the airport to receive me. What a joy to see them again. Today I had four sessions of Biblical Mandate with 26 participants. They are en exciting group participants, very engaged. During the last session,  had to discontinue the class as the spirit of the Lord moved very powerfully. Most everyone in the class were in tears. Some sound sobs were heard as well. I decided to close in prayer and let the Holy Spirit deal with the participants. This lady of the name of Pugi was my interpreter. She is very fluent in English and she has such a pleasant personality. She was so full of joy that you won't have the slightest clue of her challenges. When I heard her story and what she was going through in life, I was almost at tears. She and her husband were planting a village in a remote village when suddenly the child she was carrying was born premature. To

Peter's Restoration

My text this morning was taken from Jon 21:1-19. The subject was on the restoration of Peter.  I touched on the following points. 1.   It will always be DEFEAT when God is abandoned. Why Because God’s plans were sidelined Peter was called out of fishing but he went back again Because God’s counsel were sidelined He was told to go to Galilee to wait for Jesus but he went to fish Because God’s mercy were sidelined Jesus appeared to him twice after resurrection but he could not believe that Jesus has forgiven him 2.   Restoration takes place when  Dependence  on God is affirmed. For restoration to take place        Acknowledge  defeat. Verse 5        Follow  Advice - “Throw your net on the right side (obey)        Assurance  (faith) is key -  Took action as advised

Celebrating Gia's birthday

It was a joy to attend Gia's one year old birthday party. Proud parents Ajit and Jacqueline invited friends and church members to the occasion. It was our joy to pray for the baby on this grand occasion.

It will always be DEFEAT when God is abandoned

God is not obligated to bless when one decides to sideline His plans. But if He still does bless, its exceptional GRACE  Luke 15:20 - But while he was still a long way off, his father saw him and was filled with compassion for him; he ran to his son, threw his arms around him and kissed him.

The funding for this project was raised mostly from within India and some sponsors from overseas.     PEC Singapore hardly contributed any funds for this project. Bishop Samuel Sharma had worked very hard and by faith raised the funds. The whole campus is a testament of what faith in Christ can accomplish. This church was originally scheduled to be built in 2016 but was delayed due to resistance form the local community who were mainly Buddhists. Praise God, the hurdles have been cleared and God granted favour with the local people.       It was a wonderful dedication service and our hearts simply overflowed with joy to see these people worshipping Jesus as Lord. Another church in another mountain in Sikkim, planted by PEC church planters.  Bro Albert Pang share
