Great time in Kuching over the weekend.

I had the privilege of  facilitating Biblical Mandate to 21 participants in Kuching. This was organized by the Kuching Haggai Alumni. I took four sessions on the subject followed by a devotion on Sunday morning.  I could sense the Lord speaking to the participants on the Mandate and many responded to the Lord's Great Commission.  It was also good to see old friends and the fellowship was sweet. On Saturday evening, I was invited to a cell group By Sis Esther from Hope church where I shared by missionary journey with them. Good people and good fellowship. They were very responsive to the message. Sunday morning I had the privilege to speak at Good News Fellowship. I spoke on the topic "Press on". Great church with good people. It was good to see many familiar faces and many people responded to the message. I was indeed blessed. It was  I am greatly thankful for Bro Brian and his wife who showed great hospitality. Wonderful couple with a great pa

Heading to Kuching for the weekend

I am at T4, Changi airport again. Feels like second home. Haha. Kuching HAA is holding its Weekend seminar for the NextGen and I am looking forward to it. Praying that the Lord will impact the youths of this state for His glory. I am also looking forward to meeting friends who share the same vision and who are passionate about the HI vision.  God has been extremely good to me. Truly I am blessed. Praying that I will be a blessing again to the people in Kuching.  Expectations are high. I need more of the ptentecostal power, not just in wrds but in action. Help me Lord!

Sunday in Kochi

Image
Sunday morning Pastor Suresh and his wife from  Thiruvananthapuram joined us for breakfast. It was indeed a joy to meet them and to hear how God is answering prayers. Both husband and wife had been going through perilous times but God has been so gracious. He who calmed the winds and the waves is sufficient for every challenges in our lives. We rejoiced in the hope we have in Christ. After breakfast we headed for Sunday service.  o Sunday morning we had the baby dedication for Anils’s 3rd child, a lovely girl. We named her Jecintha Reggina.  We had dedicated all the three children to the Lord. The service was held in a small church which belong to one of Anil’s friend who is a pastor. Pst Suresh preached the word and I concluded the message and conducted the Baby Dedication.  Anil has been like our “son” and it was a joy to see how God is blessing him in spite of the many challenges he has to go through. In the evening on the way to the airport, we stopped by a

Trip to Kochi, Kerala

Third weekend, I am out of the country. This time to Kochi, Kerala. Jeya is with me and that is good. This is our first trip to this place. We arrived today at about 0100 hrs. Anil was at the airport to receive us. The main purpose of the visit it to dedicate Anil's third child.  From the airport we drove about an hour to Thrissur. By the time we arrived at the hotel it was about 0230 hrs.  After a short rest , we visited Anil's home and met his wife and three children. After a quick breakfast we departed to Kapputhula, Kottiam. We were supposed to speak at a church meeting. The journey took about 4 hrs.   We arrived at IPC, Vilayancode. It was a nice church and it was filled with believers. I was told a few churches leaders have gathered for their monthly meeting and I was invited to share the Word.  I thank God for this opportunity. After the service we had a good vegetarian lunch and went to stay at a resort for the night.

His grace is sufficient

God’s grace is sufficient not just for the thorny side issues, but as Paul would say in 2 Cor 12:10 - Now I take limitations in stride, and with good cheer, these limitations that cut me down to size—abuse, accidents, opposition, bad breaks. I just let Christ take over! And so the weaker I get, the stronger I become. (MSG) Take heart, His Grace is sufficient for any, even, unimaginable crisis in our lives. He will restore, He will vindicate, He will forgive.

Weekend in Subang and Klang, West Malaysia

I had a great week-end in Malaysia. I was invited there by Faith City Church to speak on Biblical Mandate. My host was Bro Hin Choy, a member of this church and an alumni of Haggai. I had the privilege of staying in his house. Both He and his wife are great hosts and have sincere passion for the Great Commission. In spite of his achievements and status, this brother is very humble and a good steward of the resources God has given him. It's very difficult to find such people these days. I was humbled by his life and testimony. On Friday I spoke the the topic of "God's agenda or my agenda".   On Saturday I too four sessions on Biblical Mandate for about 40 participants. The sessions were well received.  On Sunday morning, I preached the word at HighPointe Life It was so good to be with friends   It is always a joy to be back in this church. Surprisingly Pst Rahul John and his wife (Agra) were there too. zin the words of Pst Stephen Chandran, " So good to

Serving in the church does not mean that you are on God's agenda

The prophet Jonah did what a normal christian would be doing. He did his duty as a prophet, served in the temple and was zealous for God's name but one thing was amiss. He lost his focus and the primary purpose of being a light to the nations. We may be doing everything right in the church but could easily forget the very purpose we exist. Jonah 1:1-2 - The Lord gave this message to Jonah son of Amittai: 2 “Get up and go to the great city of Nineveh. Announce my judgment against it because I have seen how wicked its people are.” (The Great Commission paraphrased) Be the alt and the light Fulfill the Great Commission Be a blessing to the nations
