New Initiative in Assam - PEC Free Tuition Centre

Image
We will be giving free tuition for the kids in Rimona village in Assam  from May 2016. Sis Rebecca, on the far right, and a graduate of PEC School of Ministry, will be spearheading the program with Pst Daniel Tamang. We realise that the only way to change the mindset is through the knowledge of our Lord and proper education. Most of the kids do not go to school. About 50 kids will benefit from the program initially. Through this program we believe that many kids' lives will be changed for the Glory of God. We thank God for BethanyLife, Klang, who have agreed to sponsor this program. Praise Jesus.

Trip to Assam

With church planters and their families This morning we left Jaigaon for Assam, a three hr drive. We witnessed God's control over our affairs  in a special way today. It was raining when we left, but five minutes into the journey the weather cleared and it was a smooth drive all the way. We  arrived at this remote village Pahtha Dhupi, were our church planter Arvin is pastoring a church. We dedicated a church building in 2012. We we welcomed with song and fanfare and treated like VIPs. We were humbled when the village folks honored us by washing our feet. We have seen true Christian hospitality and humility in these days, and this village Christians were no exception. More than 150 people gathered for the meeting under a tent as the church was too small to contain all of them. The church presented songs and dances for us. Sis Josephine shared the Word and many responded to the message. At the end of the service, Pst Arvin collected the offering, but it in a

Sis Josephine and I shared the Word. We had blessed time. Simply overwhelmed and humbled by the hospitality shown by these dear people. On 18 Apr, we departed the hotel at 4:30 am for the airport. By the time we arrived at Bagdogra, it was 12:30pm. Pst Samuel was there as usual to receive us.  We had packed lunch in the vehicle as we tracked through some difficult tracks on the mountains. We travelled another threes hours by road, to Sikkim border to get our entry permits. That evening we attended PEC church in Rangpo. As before we had to walk down rocky, slippery and steep tracks to reach the church . The church was filled with people, most youths. Pst Rubin tells us that the church has become too small and they need to extend the church. This is indeed a good problem. The worship was vibrant and Bro Albert shared the Word. There was no electricity and the preaching was done with the help of a torchlight. It was really a joy to see the expansion of the church. We praise God for all that He is doing through PEC and her sponsors. That night we had to track up the mountain to reach our vehicle. It ha

On 7 Apr evening I delivered the keynote address for the  General Assembly. About 185 delegated from all over Philippines are attending this conference. I spoke of the topic "Transcend - With Urgency". The Word touched many people. Today I shared my testimony on "Life after HI Training". I shared how PEC's mission work expanded after the HI training. The testimony inspired many to transcend for evangelism. It was also heart lifting to hear the many testimonies form the delegates and also from other speakers. I am truly challenged to do more for the Lord. Also had the opportunity to meet many of my participants who attend my sessions in Maui. It was so good to see these dear one again and to hear of how the training has impacted them. I truly praise God for giving me and Jeya the opportunity to attend this conference and to meet many good Christians who are so passionate for the Lord and the HI Vision. All Glory to God.

First Fruits in Bihar, India

In Mar 2015, the Lord burdened me for church planting in Bihar. I told Pst John Signey to see if he can get some church planters fro training. I posted this note on my Facebook timeline  on 5 Mar 2015.  "Bihar, once known as the missionaries graveyard, will become the missions vineyard. From the valley of dry bones will rise a vast army (Ezekiel 37).  Population : 83 million Hindus : 82% Muslims :16 % Others : 2% Its about time. Seeking for likeminded partners to pray. provide and plant in Bihar.  Mat 9:37 -The harvest is plentiful. "  This is the first batch of church planters from Bihar who were trained in Kaniyakumari Training Centre in Tamil Nadu. They started their training in Apr and graduation in Nov 2015. This whole program was sponsored by Bro Albert and Sis Josephine from Singapore . They even went there to personally train all these church planters for a month. These church planters are very young but with a heart for evangelism. When I saw the
