Trip to Maui

Image
Its 5 AM in the morning and I am at Terminal 2, Changi Airport. My journey continues. This time to facilitate BME at Haggai Institute in Maui. Its one of the best places in the world I have ever been. More importantly its an opportunity to impact leaders from many countries of the world for evangelism. 60 participants from 31 countries are arriving for the training. I am also excited to meet my friends and colleagues at the center. Men and women with great passion for the Lord.  Flight and transit expected to take about 30 hrs before I reach my destination. To all my prayer partners, thank you once again for upholding me and my family in prayer. Please pray that the participants will never be the same again after the training.  To God be the glory.

Praise God for His marvelous work. Although this was a short trip, we experienced God's protection and favor on the team. Truly we can rejoice with the words in Psalms 91:3-6: Surely he will save you   from the fowler’s snare   and from the deadly pestilence.   He will cover you with his feathers,   and under his wings you will find refuge;   his faithfulness will be your shield and rampart.   You will not fear the terror of night,   nor the arrow that flies by day,   nor the pestilence that stalks in the darkness,   nor the plague that destroys at midday. 8 of us went on this trip. Rama/Jeya/Jecintha/Sarah from PEC. Bro James and his two freinds, Bro Paul Raj and Sis Reena. This is the first time our daughter Jecintha came with us in a mission trip. She was simply blessed. Life's painful but necessary perils

John 16:33 - In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.   Troubles are a given thing in the christian live. Don't believe anyone who says otherwise becasue Jesus himself has said... you will.... But the difficult troubles/perils are the ones that come from people close to you or the ones you trusted most. The phrase "You too Brutus" was not just a saying but a saying from a bleeding heart. Even Jesus himself had to experience that from the hands of his disciples. One said, "I don't know him," another betrayed him, the rest ran away. But in the beatitudes, Jesus promised a blessing to the who suffer such troubles. Mat 5:11 - 12 - Blessed are you when people insult you, persecute you and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of me. Rejoice and be glad, because great is your reward in heaven, for in the same way they persecuted the prophets who were before you . In fact when we suffer false

Promise verse for the month of Apr 14

Wow we have completed the first quarter of 2014 in a blink of an eye.  This morning Pst Joel shared beautifully from Amos 9:11-12 - I will restore David’s fallen shelter, I will repair its broken walls   and restore its ruins  and will rebuild it as it used to be,   so that they may possess the remnant of Edom   and all the nations that bear my name, declares the Lord , who will do these things.(NIV) He spoke about God restoring in the following areas: Our lives Our families  Our church   God will do this by repairing and rebuilding. The purpose for this is that we may possess the nations (evangelism).  I meditated further on the verse and noted that the King James says the " I will raise up the tabernacle of David". Why not the Tabernacle of Moses or the most remembered Tabernacle of Solomon. Interesting James paraphrases the above scriptures in Acts 15:16-17 -  After this I will return, and will build again the tabernacle of David, which is falle
