Ministry in Chhattisgarh

After arrival from the bus station, I got changed and we went for a baptism service. Bishop Anjan also arrived from Odisha and joined us.

Pastor Lahson, one of our church planters, has been working in Adawal village and three new members were ready for baptism.

It was my joy to baptise these new believers.

After the baptism, we went to the village for a house meeting. Pst Lohson has been working in this village for some years and this congregation is ready for a church building. Bishop Anjan shared the word.

After this we dedicated PEC's 198th church building in Tonguda village. About 60 people were gathered for the church dedication. I was blessed to see the work of the Lord expanding in very difficult circumstances in Chhattisgarh. God is good indeed.

The remaining days were spent in discussions on how to move the work in Chhattisgarh forward. On 11 Aug night, I took the overnight bus to Ripur, rendezvoused with Pst Pathi and Bro Inderjit on 12 Aug, who had a fruitful time with their church planters. From there it was to New Delhi and back to Singapore on 13 Aug morning. Pst Pathi and Bro Inderjit made their way back home to KL, and thence to Klang.
