Relief aid for the persecuted in Pakistan

In partnership with the Great Commission Church in Gujarat, Punjab, we organised a relief aid for the victims of the persecution. Pst Ashraf Maqbool of the Great Commission Church, helped organise this effort.

The distribution was done on 25 Aug. When the distribution team  arrived at Faisalabad district, what they witnessed was very troubling. They were almost in tears to see the condition of our brothers and sisters, their homes and their churches. Situation was very painful and terrible and they were weeping and crying. It it was a heart breaking moment.

The team was able to distribute groceries to about 100 families of 3 churches badly affected by the persecution. Each bag of relief items cost about $50 and can last about 2 weeks. The help we offered was not much but it was received with much appreciation.

Let's continue to prayer for all theses brothers and sisters, as they result their lives, families, homes and church. May the Lord grant them special mercies.

From Pst Ashraf:

"I am thankful to almighty God for this great privilege and honour that God is using us for His divine purpose. I want to say especial thank to PEC Singapore and Friends for their generosity and support for Pakistan's Christians in this difficult and terrible time. I have seen with my own eyes the painful condition of Pakistan's Christians in Jaranwala Pakistan. They were weeping and crying because their houses are completely burned. I really appreciate to Rev P Ramachandran and his friends for supporting in Pakistan. Hallelujah. All glory to be to our Lord Jesus Christ"
