Odisha - Day 3

This morning I met the children from the Shadrach Home, before they left for school. It is getting more difficult to run children homes in Odisha as the government is claiming down on NGO's. The conversion fear is crippling them.

Today we headed to Kandamal District to visit our church planters. If you remember, Kandamal was the place where the persecution first started in 2008. Many christians were unjustly tortured  and violently killed. But today many villages are coming to know Christ. The blood of the martyrs was never shed  in vain. We are reaping the harvest.

We visited three villages. These groups were smaller but many are coming to know Christ. When they worshipped you can literally sense the tangible presence of the Lord. It was so powerful. They did not need any musical instruments or a worship team to cajole them to worship. It came from a thankful heart.

I was blessed to meet the church planters and to see how they were working in those difficult places. To Gd be the glory.
