Worship in Humility

Last night I spoke on the subject "Worship in Humility" at the Tamil service. We had a good crowd, even though many were away on holidays and other commitments.

Text taken from Luke 18;9-14 - The Pharisee and the tax collector.

Rachael helped to translate. She had been fasting the whole day for this. Glad to see the young people rise up to the call of ministry.

“God uses broken things. It takes broken soil to produce a crop, broken clouds to give rain, broken grain to give bread, broken bread to give strength. It is the broken alabaster box that gives forth perfume. It is Peter, weeping bitterly, who returns to greater power than ever.”― Vance Havner

Many hearts were touched. To God be the glory.

After thought:

Jonathan's definition of humility: Is not looking less at yourself but looking at yourself less
