Church Dedication in Chong Rong, Sikkim
We woke up to a new cool morning in Rebangla at 7,000 ft above sea level. It was so pleasant and the scenery was picturesque.
After breakfast we depart for the church dedication in Chong Rong. It took us almost two hours the church. The drive was pleasant and we indeed beheld the Glory of God in nature.
It was delightful to see another church dedicated to the glory of God. This is the112thchurch build by PEC in the mission field. Pst Bhim and his wife have been working in this place for the last 4 years. This church was originally scheduled to be built in 2016 but was delayed due to resistance form the local community who were mainly Buddhists. Praise God, the hurdles have been cleared and God granted favour with the local people.
It was a wonderful dedication service and our hearts simply overflowed with joy to see these people worshipping Jesus as Lord. Another church in another mountain in Sikkim, planted by PEC church planters. Bro Albert Pang shared the Word from Psalms 62. It was heart-lifting to se the joy on the faces of the church members and guests.
After a good lunch we let for a long and arduous drive to Jaigaon, Bhutan Border. It took us down winding and sometime dangerous roads. It took us eight hours to reach Jaigoan. Although tired, we thanked God for bringing us safely.
