Evangelism Seminar

Image
Today we conducted the evangelism seminar in church, titled Models of Evangelism. I am trying to encourage each one to reach one by the end of the year. The seminar was well attended. About 40 members turned up for the seminar. Pst Aw, an old friend from His Arrow's Church, facilitated the seminar.  Just before Jesus was taken up to heaven, He gave the following commandment to his disciples in Mathew 28:19-20 - Therefore go and make disciples of all nations,   baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,   20  and teaching   them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you   always, to the very end of the age.” We call it the Great Commission . A commission is a command, an order an imperative, something that ought to be obeyed without questioning. Unfortunately it remains the |Great Omission. And there are many reasons for not evangelising  Fear, lack of know-how, what...

Sitting at the transit lounge at Vizag Airport, I am waiting for my connection to Chennai. We left Muniguda, Odisha at about 7:30am this morning. It was a plesant drive to Vizag. Ajay and Jason also came along to see me off at the airport before they head for the train station to Hyderabad. These boys really took care if me, to the minute detail. He said that he would not have been where he is today if not for God and Bro Ramachandran. Tears welled in my eyes at those words. In spite of the many challenges, it was worth the pain. When I saw the number of people resched with the gospel in the last seven years, I know it could only have been God.  " My redeemer lives".  Lives have been saved, people have been blessed. Indeed we have been a blessing.  I am t...

On 15-16 Feb, we conducted revival meetings in another remote place where we had built the second PEC church in Odisha, In this village, there are now more Christians than Hindus, thanks to the church planting effort by PEC church planter Pst Mohan. More than 300 people attended the meetings. These are people from nearby villages. Many Hindus attended the meeting. I spent nearly an hour after the meeting praying for all these people in need. They were hungry for the true living God. Many were delivered from demon possession and many healed of their sickness.   God indeed did amazing things during the meetings. All glory to God. During the meeting, we also had the graduation of the 5 th batch of church planters and the ordination of senior PEC pastors. We are looking for sponsors to support these church planters in the remote villages in the different districts in Odisha. We also baptized 16 people in muddy ...
