HI National Seminar in Mongolia

Image
The participants Praise God for another opportunity to be in Mongolia. This is my second visit, the last being in 2012. This time the seminar was held in Ulaan Baatar, the capital of Mongolia. So much changes have taken place in the city since I was last here. New developments and new buildings everywhere. The seminar was held in Khunnu Hotel in the center of the city. 25 participants attended the seminar. They comprised leaders from different fields including pastors and church leaders. I facilitated the subject "Biblical Mandate".  This group was very interactive asking questions and making many comments during the sessions. They were hungry for more of God. The Holy Spirit moved and touched the participants in a very special way. Many testified how they were impacted by the sessions. I too was blessed. It was a joy to see Pst Vasile . Good man with passion for God. It excludes from him and it's contagious. We met last in São Paulo in Feb. Somehow God ...

Happy birthday

Image
Today, its my wife's birthday. This picture of her, I have carried it in my wallet for the last 30 years. Special treasures. As I look back at our journey, we have literally crossed mountains and valleys, storm, rain and sunshine, tests and triumphs.  And yet again I come to the same conclusion. She is indeed a gift from God.  I don't know of anyone else who fears God like her, who loves the Word like her and who seeks the Lord like her. The only thing that matters to me is that she loves the Lord and the family and serves Him wholeheartedly. There is no shadow of pretence or guile. Today I thank God for Jeya, who has stood by me, in spite of her protests and disagreements.  As we journey again into unchartered territories, I am not worried,  With God and my wife, we will overcome.  The just shall live by faith and that is her  testimony.  I am honoured to be her husband. With much love and kisses. The whole family together after a l...

Bro  Samuel , Bro Stephen and  I  went on this trip.  Our objectives are two fold: 1.   Conduct a leadership seminar for about 30 leaders 2.   See if there are any church planting opportunities in Cambodia.  Pst Roger and his wife Deb We arrived in Siem Reap at about 3pm. Our host, Pst Roder was there to pick us up. I met Pst Roger and his wife Deb at the Hi Penang National Seminar in 2012. They are Filipino missionaries, serving the Lord in Cambodia. Our transport from the airport was a modified motorcycle with an attached carriage. A very unique experience indeed. That evening we had dinner at a road side stall. These stalls are a plenty in Siemreap, reminiscence of the yester years in Singspore. And the food was delicious and exceptionally reasoanable, $1:50 a disk. Reminded me of those days in the 70's of old Chong Pang Village, around Sultan Theater. Those were the days....Singaporeans go crazy in ...

Weekend at Klang, Malaysia

Image
Jeya and I were once again privileged to at Bethany Life, Klang. We always look forward to being there, especially with good friends and likeminded people. Since they started their new journey two years ago, it has been a trill to see them overcome challenges and also to see how God has been good to them. We also look froward to being with Pst Stephen Chandra Mohan, his dear wife Flora and their two children. Another great example of people who love God and not afraid to Soil their hands. Willing to make hard decisions and passionate for the Lord. Bro Reni and his wife Rosalind picked us up from the airport. This couple has been a great blessing to the church.   That evening we met the leaders of he church for a time of fellowship and dinner. We witnessed true unity amongst church leaders, about 10 of them and their wives and children. There was transparency, love and humility. Simply overwhelming. Sunday morning I spoke on the Passover. The title of th...
