Heart breaking

Respected Sir,

Greetings in the blessed name of Jesus Christ.

As I informed earlier, I and Bro Lazarus went to Nagarjuna Sagar to visit the late Pst. Stephen’s house on 10 May 2021. 

The late Pst Stephen’s wife Sis. Esther, his sister Maria, his brother in law Peter, their two children and unmarried sister were staying in the house. 

Pst. Stephen was one of the senior pastors in PEC, and also member in the Regd. Governing Body.  From our beginning days he was with us and served the Lord faithfully. 

We purchased the Land and build the church and on 29th May 2012 you dedicated the Church for the Glory of God. Around 30 to 40 families are worshiping our Lord every Sunday, he also conducting services at Right Bank and Karampudi.

On Sunday 2nd night around 11PM he was admitted in General Hospital because of difficulty in breathing. Doctor gave treatment and he was on Oxygen ventilator.  Around 3 am oxygen cylinder became empty and no other cylinders to replace. They tried to shift him to town hospitals but not possible on that time.  He died around 3:10 am in that Hospital. 

Really it was shocking and big loss to family and church. 

Thanks for your concern and financial support of Rs. 20,000 for funeral expenses. Really it was a great help to the family in very needy time. For Ambulance Rs. 10,000 and for digging they paid another Rs. 10,000/- they also very need of another Rs. 20,000 to clear the debts which the family taken loan for his treatment. 

She likes to continue the church ministry with the help of her family members and also with the support of church members. I will update on it sir.

What a trip to Nepal

I am sitting at the airport restaurant in Kathmandu, checked in and waiting for my departure to New Delhi and from there, onward to Singapore.  Just sipping and enjoying the Americano coffee and a slice of cheese cake as I reminiscent my last nine days in Nepal. It has been a incredibly tough trip but one filled with joy, great satisfaction and challenges. Tough because of the bad roads, tracks and mountain trekking that really tested my endurance and my back was sore.  Couple of knocks on the head as the vehicle danced to the tune of the undulating terrain. Days when I had terrible diarrhoea, running from one mountain toilet to another. Thank God I had Dr Mike Ong on this trip who is a medical doctor from Singapore, who attended to my condition. Times when we had to sleep on the cold floor with thin sheets of cloth, with rodents in the vicinity. Temperatures dropped to a low of 10-12 degrees centigrde in the nights. Devotion - Psalms 44: 6-7 - Its God who gives the victory

Psalms 44:6-7 - I put no trust in my bow, my sword does not bring me victory; but you give us victory over our enemies, you put our adversaries to shame. Any soldier will know that the basic weapon of warfare, in those days, were the bow and sword. Without which no soldier will not venture into the battle field. Even the famed Goliath was geared in full battle order when he faced David with the stones and the sling. Isn't it a paradox then that David, one of the finest soldiers Israel had ever produced, proclaims that its not the bow and the sword that gives the victory. Its is the Lord, Jehovah, that gives the victory. I don't think David is trying to say that we should not prepare ourselves for warfare. His concern is that we recognize that ultimately its the Lord that gives the victory.
