Pakistan Flood Relief - Follow-up

In Oct Praise Evangelical Singapore embarked on a humanitarian mission in partnership with Bishop Haroon, Pastor of the United Methodist Church of Pakistan and an alumni of Haggai Institute. The aid was well received and the victims were deeply thankful for the efforts. However what we did was only a drop in the ocean. Much needs to be done. As winter was fast approaching, we decided to embark on another mission to help alleviate the misery of the hush weather. Pst Steven went to Lahore from 12-15 Dec and together with Bishop Haroon's team, helped 300 families with rice and basic winter apparels. The Bishop had the following words to say:

"The Methodist Church of Pakistan and all its staff , all over the Pakistan are thankful for your help and for your practical love of Christ for 300 floods affected families for distributing winter need Items and food on the occasion of Christmas 2010.

We are thankful to The Lord Jesus for The Praise Evangelical Church and staff who made it possible and motivated generous people like Brother Rama and Rev Steven to help the Flood affected families and sowing the good seed for the church planting and other church mission in the land of Pakistan. Through this distribution the Lord Jesus has opened many doors of ministry and also this will impact on our Church growth as well. All our Pastor are very happy and asking divine blessing for your ministry. We are confident that God will give the rewards to you and your Church for this great work for His kingdom."

All Glory to God.
