We had a good turn out for both the services yesterday. I spoke at both services. My subject was "the Just shall live by faith" as taken from the Book of Habakkuk. After giving a short overview of the book, I shared on what does it mean "the just shall live by faith". I provided the following suggestions: 1.    It means Trusting God when trusting seems difficult - 2:4 Example -  Abraham 2.    It means to Know God in control when there seems to be no control – 2:20 Example Joseph Although we may not have the answers to many questions in life, we can rest assured that God is in control and He will fulfil the purposes and plans for our lives. That's why in spite of the many questions Habakkuk cased the Lord, he eventually came to the conclusion in 3:17-18 : Though the fig tree does not bud      and there are no grapes on the vines, though the olive crop fails      and the fields produce no fo...

Last night we had an extended time of prayer from 8pm to 12:30am. This was also to user in the new month and to receive the promise verse for the month. Usually its done at 6am in the morning of the first day of the month but for this month we decided to hold it after midnight. This was also to cater for Bro Tangevelu's thanksgiving service later in teh evening on Saturday. After the prayer was over, one of the leaders came and and said that he wanted to share the following verse for Jeya and me. He was very much impressed by the Lord to do so. 2 Cor 12:9-10 :   But he said to me,  “My grace  is sufficient for you, for my power  is made perfect in weakness. ”  Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me.   10  That is why, for Christ’s sake, I delight  in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships,  in persecutions,  in difficulties. Jeya and I had the privilege of ministering the Word at Klang once again. It was so good to meet like-minded people once again and to see the goodness of God in their lives and church. Bethany Life  has moved into the new building. Beautifully renovated and filled with God's presence. We have seen this church through the last 4 years and in spite of the many challenges, God has seen them through. God is faithful indeed. The devil was once again out to shame. The name of Jesus lifted higher than any other. Shared the Word from Joshua 3, reminding them that they have a greater purpose in being established in this new location. God's plan for the church is to move into the neighbourhood and reach them for Christ. It will spread beyond their borders. Specially prayed over the church leadership. That God will keep them untied to fulfil His purposes and plans. It was a wonderful day indeed. Touched down at 6:30 pm and straight to work.

This morning my heart was overwhelmed with joy as I read the following from a mail from Pst Anjan, our coordinator in Odisha.  "Warm greetings in his precious name . By the grace of God and through your earnest prayers we are all fine here . Sir I am very sorry for late i struggle a lot because of net problem here. Last week I was in Kandhamal to visit few newly founded churches. God is  doing great work . And our CPTC graduates are also working hard.  Therefore we thankful to God and thankful you also.'' If you remember a few years ago, the persecution against the Christians were the fiercest in Kandhamal District. The blood of the saints did not go in vain. Many people are coming to know  our Lord today. We truly praise God for all the work done by our church planters. Praise God for all our sponsors. Next year we are looking at supporting another more 10  church in Odisha.  To God be the Glory.

This evening I spoke at the evening Tamil service. My message was based on Psalms 15 and I entitled it "The citizen of heaven or the true worshipper" Tent/Hill This has a reference to the tabernacle and the temple and slo to tent as in a dwelling house. The psalmist asks an ultimate question: Who can be enter God's presence to worship Him Who can be part of God's house hold Verse 2 gives three characteristics of his character : The one whose walk is blameless , who does what is righteous , who speaks the truth from their heart ; The true worshipper, the citizen of heaven or the member of God’s family has three important aspects to his character ·       One who walks in integrity or one who is blameless ·       One who works righteousness One who speaks truth from his heart

Introduction 1.         Praise Evangelical Church, Singapore, has established children homes in Tamil Nadu and in Ordisha, India.  The purpose is to provide poor and needy children, mostly orphans, with both secular and spiritual education so that they will become useful citizens in their country. Now we are working to adopt another such home in Thant Yan  village in the Northern Shan State in  Myanmar. 2.               This Home in Myanmar was started by Ms Khaw Shin in 2014. After her graduation from theological school, in 2010,   she went to the Wa Region, near the China border.
