Sunday evening at ALFC
It was another privilege for Jeya and me to attend the worship service at ALFC.
This time, the church held its service at another church in Yishun as their own premises are currently undergoing renovation. It was wonderful to see so many familiar faces again. Almost 300 people gathered for worship, and by now, many of them have become friends and partners in the ministry. We are grateful for the relationships God has allowed us to build over the years.
I am especially thankful to Senior Pastor Allan Ang for his passion, faithfulness and the way he continues to mentor and encourage us. His life and ministry challenge us to remain faithful and to keep doing our part for the Kingdom of God. His encouragement always inspires us to go further and serve Him more faithfully.
I felt impressed by the Holy Spirit to share on “The Power of Unity”, from Psalm 133:
“Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity!”
Unity is more than simply being together. It is when God’s people come together with one heart, one spirit and one purpose. Psalm 133 reminds us that where there is such unity, God commands His blessing—life forevermore.
The Spirit of the Lord indeed moved mightily during the service. There was a deep sense of His presence, and I felt a powerful anointing as we ministered.
It was a beautiful reminder that when God’s people walk together in unity, His presence is welcomed, His purposes are advanced, His power is demonstrated, and His blessing flows.
God is good, and we are grateful for the privilege of doing our little part in His Kingdom.
May we never underestimate what God can do through a church that is united in Him.
To God be all the glory!
