Another new beginning

CPTC in Pakistan

In partnership with Great Commission Church, we have launched a new Leadership Training program for Christians. Pst Ashraf, a Haggai alumni, is our coordinator in Pakistan.

Today we had the opening session. The program began with the cutting of the ribbon for the training centre. After worship, I shared PEC's role in the CPTC. This was followed with Bro Leandro from Brazil sharing the Word via zoom. I was glad to have friends from Haggai join the opening session.

This is the first batch and this will be a beginning of many wonderful things in Pakistan.

To God eb the glory for the new opening in Pakistan.

The God Who Sees Me

“The Angel of the LORD found Hagar near a spring in the desert.”  -  Genesis 16:7   Genesis 16 introduces us to one of the most tender moments in Scripture ,   the first appearance of “the Angel of the LORD. ” Before this chapter, God walked with Adam, spoke to Cain, and guided Noah and Abraham, but never before does the Bible use this special title. And the remarkable thing is this ,  the very first person to encounter the Angel of the LORD is not a prophet, a king, or a spiritual hero, but Hagar ,  a slave, a foreigner, and a mistreated pregnant woman running into the desert to escape her pain.    The One whom heaven adores comes down to meet a woman whom earth has rejected.   Hagar’s story is especially heartbreaking because the suffering she endured was   not of her own making . She did not choose her circumstances; they were forced upon her. As an Egyptian slave, she had no voice, no rights, and no freedom. She was mistreated b...

Weekend at Kiros Cornerstone Church, Berastagi, Indonesia

Image
I had the wonderful privilege of spending the weekend at KCC, Berastagi, at the gracious invitation of Bishop Ezra. This trip was somewhat different, as I travelled alone. Due to the ongoing crisis in the Middle East, airfares had risen significantly, making it impractical for Jeya to accompany me. I arrived at Kualanamu International Airport on the evening of 29 May. Although I have often arrived on late flights, this particular arrival came with a few unexpected challenges at customs. For a brief moment, the situation seemed uncertain, but the Lord once again demonstrated His faithfulness. Everything was resolved peacefully, and I was reminded that God's hand is upon His servants even in the smallest details of a journey. Waiting patiently at the arrival hall were Bro. Yudah and his son. Their warm welcome was deeply appreciated after a long day of travel. The drive from Medan to Berastagi is never a short one, but exhaustion soon overtook me, and I spent much of the journey rest...

When faith shines brighter than victory

Image
Until now, I’ve never really understood or liked cricket. To me, it was just a game that stirred wild excitement among fans — I thought they were crazy or I was missing something. I watched from a distance, often wondering   why  p eople were so obsessed with it.     But on  31 October , something shifted. I read about  Jemimah Rodrigues , a young Indian female cricketer, who led her team to victory against Australia. I saw something far greater than athletic skill. When the victory came, she cried — and then did something rare. She thanked  Jesus  first.  Yes, Jemimah Rodrigues openly gave God the glory for her success in her interview. In multiple accounts of her post-match interview, Jemimah specifically said, "Firstly I would like to thank Jesus as I couldn't do it on my own," pointing upward before speaking into the microphone. She explained how prayer, Scripture, and her faith in Christ empowered her through a mentally challenging perio...
