Back to church after the renovations

We were back in church building after about six months. The last time we gathered here was on New Year's Eve. Most of the renovations is done and we thank God for seeing us through.

The Covid situation and the renovation delayed our gathering together. The renovation in itself was strewn with many challenges and disagreement and we are not off the hook yet. But one things is sure: The God who has seen us through the last 60 years will see us through for there next and no scheme of the devil can prevail against the church of God. God has again proved Himself to be faithful and as I opened the service I cited Lamentations 3:22-23
Because of the Lord’s great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail. 23 They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.

We thank God that we were able to get all the necessary approvals form the authorities and what a joy to see our people again.
I opened the service in prayer

The Covid restrictions limited our numbers and so today we had about 50 worshippers and a team of leaders, safe ambassadors and the worship team.
The English service was held at 10:30am and the Tamil service at 12:30pm.
In spite of the restrictions in arms of singing and social distancing, we knew the Spirit of the Lord was present in our minds and that made the difference.
Pst Alvin spoke on the Sower and the Seed.
Special thanks to our Safe Ambassadors for a job well done. To God be the glory
