Church Dedication
This Sunday morning we went to Lingdon which was about 2 hrs drive from Singtam. As we stood outside the church we can see all the surrounding mountains and valleys. It was simply a picturesque sight.
This church was planted by our church planter Pst Amur. About 35 people gathered for the church dedication. This church was sponsored by my close friends Nick and Steven Tan and our mission partners Albert and Josephine. I asked Pst Renchin, from PEC Packium, to share the Word and he shared from 2 Corinthians 5:17.
It was indeed a joyous occasion to dedicate PEC’s 126 church in the mission field. Our vision is that a church should be planted in every mountain in Sikkim.
After a sumptuous organic lunch, we departed for another meeting in Gangtok. It was a pleasant drive and the view was scenic. But it started to rain in certain places and the visibility was quite bad. Praise God we reached Gangtok safety. This church was in a unique location. First we had to climb up about 100 steps, then we had to walk down to what looked like a basement. About 30 people were cramped in the small hall. As the people worshipped, the presence of the Lord was powerfully felt in that place.
I shared the Word on ‘The God who sees”. After the message we prayed for those who had needs and we experienced a mighty visitation of the Holy Spirit.
