Church Dedications

Sis Helen Satiya arrived on scheduled at about 00:30 hrs in the morning.

It was a long day. We departed our hotel at 6:00AM in two vehicles. We arrived our first destination for the 1st church dedication at 1:00PM.  This village is called Mallemadugu in Bhadrahdri Kothagudem District.  The church planter here is Yesu Patham.

Sis Shantini and family sponsored this building. We had a simple ceremony and dedicated the building. Bro Kumar shared the Word on “Why Jesus is unique”.

As this is a remote areas, there are no good restaurants and hence no lunch and the team to survive on biscuits.

We arrived at the 2nd church at about 3:00PM. This was in a village called Chervu Mumdu Singaram, Bhadrajdri Kothagudem. The church planter here is Pst Vijay Kumar. Sis Jeya sponsored this building. More than 150 had gathered since 10:30AM for the dedication and they still had not had their lunch.  Sis Jeya shared on the “Sheep and the Shepherd”. We also dedicated a bore-well in this village, which was sponsored by Bro Ashok and family.

On the way to the 3rd church dedication, we dedicated another bore-well in another PEC church. Sis Mages sponsored this well.

We arrived for the 3rd church dedication at about 4:45PM. The journey to this church took us through wild animal forest reserves. Thank God we did not meet any on the way. About 200 people had gathered for the occasion. This is in a village called Ranga Puram in Jayashankar District. Sis Helen Sathya sponsored this church building. The church planter here is Pst Joseph.  Pst Pathi shared the Word on how Jesus fed the 5000 with 5 loaves and 2 fishes.

After a long awaited dinner along the way we reached our hotel at almost midnight. It took us about 6 hrs on the road.

It was indeed a joy to see new churches sprouting in remote places in Telanga State. We praise God for the dedication and support of the PEC team, especially the church planters who are working in remote tribal areas.
