At noon we had the dedication of the Church Planters' Training Centre in Secunderabad. I was moved to see the building and the efforts that has been taken for this project. PEC only bought the land but the rest was done by the local church and Bishop Nehemiah. This has also been my prayer that Indians will support and reach their fellowmen. Its not easy for the slum church to raise funds because of their financial state, But this project was undertaken by faith. Not completed though . They need another $6000 to complete the building.

The building has two dormitories, a classroom, a office and other amenities  for a training centre. I was quite impressed with the building.

We had a simple ceremony. About hundred people attended the ceremony. I shared on Why the need to train church planters, looking at the life of Paul and his instruction to Timothy in 2 Tim 2:2 -And the things you have heard me say in the presence of many witnesses entrust to reliable people who will also be qualified to teach others.

Later in the evening we had a children's program for the kids in Rasoolpura. More than 120 children turned up for the program. Jaya and Sis Calai taught them songs, told a story and had other activities for the kids. The kids really enjoyed the programespecially the gifts that were sponsored by friends from Singapore.

There is a huge children's ministry waiting to be tapped in this slum at Rasoolpura. We need volunteers
