Visiting CPs in Assam

It was a busy day indeed. We departed our hotel at 7am. First stop was at Bible School that was run by Bro Santiyandra, who is an Haggai alumni. He was a participant in 2011 in Maui where I facilitated Bibilical Mandate.

Bro Sathiyandra is very much involed in missions and churhc planting and he invited me to breakfast and also speak to the Bible School students. I was thrilled to see the work of Haggai alumni, of which I had a little part to play. All praise and glory to God.
PEC English School
We arrived at Pst Soban's church at about 11 am. I was specially delighted to the PEC English medium school started by Pst Soban. With this initiative, we are planning to start a tution centre where about 100 kids will benefit from the program.

The weather was warm and humid and I was soaked in my own perspiration.
With Pst Soban and family
It was really heartwarming to see the work of Pst Soban and his wife in this remote village amongst the Bodo people . Very primitive conditions.  In spite of the many limitations, they are serving the Lord to the best of their abilities. And God is bringing in the increase.
PEC Rimona
We then drove for an hour to Rimona village where we have the other tuition centre. Pst Daniel Tamang and his team run this centre where more than 100 children are benefiting from the program. As usual the kids put up some songs and dances. Jeya shared with the story.

Many of the kids' parents also came to attend the program and they were not christians. I shared a simple gospel message and many of them raised their hands to accept the Lord. It was really a joy to minister to these people.

Rimona is also the place where our Assam training centre is located. We were told that just surrounding Rimona are hundreds of villages of the Raba tribe and many have not been reached with the gospel. The Raba tribe is of the unreached people's group. Many of the graduates are ready to work in these unreached villages. We need sponsors to support them.

After the program we headed back to Jaigaon, which was a long three hour drive. Tired but fully satisfied.
