Another milestone for PEC

Another day of rejoicing as we began the first CP Training program in Charttisgarh. By the grace of God we have been supporting ten CPs there. They were previously trained at out training centre in Kanniyakumari.

Today we have started on in Charrtisgarh itself. This will be the 5th State with a PEC Church Planters Training Centre.

As I look back, my eyes whelm with tears as I recount the grace of God. I remember the many hurdles and challenges and we had faced in the ministry. Many discouragements but we praise God for those who believed in us and the vision God has given to us. Hundreds and thousands are being reached with the gospel and many added to the Kingdom of God.

On hindsight, those who came as discouragers and back-steppers did us good. Its because of them we had to trust God more, seek Him more and serve Him better. Otherwise pride would have overtaken us. So in the end , "All things work for good...."

I am encouraged by the words in Heb 12:1-2 -Do you see what this means—all these pioneers who blazed the way, all these veterans cheering us on? It means we’d better get on with it. Strip down, start running—and never quit! No extra spiritual fat, no parasitic sins. Keep your eyes on Jesus, who both began and finished this race we’re in. Study how he did it. Because he never lost sight of where he was headed—that exhilarating finish in and with God—he could put up with anything along the way: (MSG)

We pray that these young men who are being trained will become the next generation of harvesters in the field that is already ripe for harvest. But I am praying for a sponsor to support this batch. We started by faith and I am sure the Lord will bring us the right sponsor. Blessed be the Name of the Lord.
