Fruitful trip to Yangon, Myanmar

The trip went well. Most of the participants have a good potential to plant churches in the future and they all showed eagerness in wanting to dodo.

On Thursday evening, we visited a village, mostly of Indian origin. Our church planter is working in that village. They were very poor and the living conditions were appalling. Sometimes its difficult for them to have three meals a day. No electricity, no toilets and no clean water.

About 30 adults and ten children gathered for the service. Bro Uthi shared the Word and I concluded. At the end we prayed for them and we realised how demonic the whole village was. Many were under the bondage of the evil one. Only Jesus can set them free.

On Friday night we had dinner with Celia, a Filipino missionary working in Yangon. I met Celia  at a HI National Seminar in KL. Since God had placed a desire for her to work in Myanmar, I connected her with Pst John Phonshar. She found her niche and now she helps in the Bible School in the weekend.

Brio Uthi retuned to Singapore on Friday, while I returned on Saturday. Praise God for all that He is doing in the mission field. I suffered fever and diarrhoea on Friday and its still continuing although then fever came down this morning. I guess it must be the water I drank at the village.
