Remembering the faithful

IN REMEMBRANCE OF MR ROBERT PERIASAMY

Jan 1930 – 17 Dec 2009
Six years have gone by. My Dad, he loved the Lord, served Him faithfully and finished his race victoriously. Proud to be his son. We cherish the memories. We miss him but not for long. 2 Cor 5:17

How times flies. Its the 6th anniversary of my father's passing. Everyone can have a child, but not every can be a father. My Dad was. With his limited education, he brought up the family to hat we are today.

But the greatest tribute that can be given to him was that he was truly a born again christian. Not just in words, but in all totality. He never missed his quiet time, he never missed church and he never stopped loving the Lord.

He would have been 85 today. Happy birthday Dad. Thank you for setting the right examples for us.

This morning I was by the beach where my Dad's bones were laid to rest. On the background you see Johore's coast. Life is a journey. Without God its wasted.

Today will be a day of mixed emotions, especially for mom and Saro. But you know what, folks, we will see him soon.
