Blessed Christmas

Taken on Christmas Day, missing Jessica
The message of Christmas is the same as it was about 2000 years ago.

For God so loved the world that HE gave His only begotten son. That whosoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. He came to give us abundant life, a new hope, a new future, a new destiny. We celebrate today because we have found him, of whom Moses in the law, and the prophets, did write, Jesus of Nazareth, the son of Joseph.). (Jn 1:45

Isaiah 9:6-7 - For unto us a Child is born, Unto us a Son is given; And the government will be upon His shoulder.  And His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. Of the increase of His government and peace There will be no end,

But not many are as privileged as us to celebrate Christmas like we do. I got a mail on Christmas Eve from a friend in Pakistan.

"Jesus given us a precious opportunity to serve His people and share His love with those living in very critical conditions. They have no home, no pastor no Church but still have hope. Some photos are attached. Please keep them (your poor brothers, sisters and children) in your prayers. Here many  have hope in Him just with your prayers.

Your brother in Christ"

Again on Christmas Eve I also got a call from NE India. Sir in Assam. 67 people killed by the terrorists and they have come very close to one of our church planters, Daniel Tama. Right now all the members a taking refuge in the church. They are all afraid. But they have decided to celebrate Christmas., no matter what.

Yes Jesus came to give us peace, not an absence of war, but peace in the midst of war.
