By God's grace from Jul, we have started supporting 10 church planters in
Orissa. Rev John
Signey, our Coordinator for Tamil
Nadu and principal of the
Ecclessia Training Centre, visited the church planters this week. Most of them work in the interior areas where mostly the tribal people live,
especially in the districts of
Rajgada and
Kandhamal. These church planters work under tremendous persecution both from the Hindu extremists and also from the
Naxalites (communists). They need your continual support and prayer.
Many of the
church planters work in very poor conditions but use whatever is available to serve God. Here you see one of them using an utensil used for cooking food, as an instrument to sing praises to God. This must put many of us to shame who take all the blessings we have for granted.
