Another update from NE India

On 15th September, we were privileged to witness the joyous baptism of 17 new believers in one of our churches in Assam. Pastor Alphi, who has been faithfully serving the congregation, continues to do incredible work in this region. The people here, though simple and hardworking—many of them labouring in the fields—have a profound love for the Lord, and their devotion was clearly evident as they took this important step in their faith.

The baptism service was followed by a heartfelt meeting of believers, where the presence of the Holy Spirit was gently felt among us. It was a beautiful moment of unity and spiritual renewal as the congregation came together in worship and fellowship.

On 17 September, we had the graduation of 14 students from the PECM School of Ministry in Dalsingpara, neat the Bhutan border. This is the 18th batch of students we have trained in NE India. These students had spent 9 months in the school and after their graduation, they will go out to the field to serve the Lord.

It was a joy to see Abishek, the son of Bishop Samuel, dressed in traditional Bhutanese attire as he led the congregation in worship. We are grateful to God for the rising generation, who are being prepared and equipped to carry forward the ministry with faith and dedication.

The service was attended by the faculty, many well wishers and family.

We are especially grateful for the leadership of Bishop Samuel and his team, whose tireless dedication and unwavering commitment to God's work in this region have made such a difference. Their efforts continue to transform lives, and we thank God for the impact they are having in Assam and beyond.

To God be the glory.
