What a challenging day

Yesterday was a deeply challenging and emotional day.

My mother went missing around 1:30 PM, just as I was supposed to take her to a doctor’s appointment. Instead of waiting for me at home, she left on her own and unknowingly wandered far from familiar surroundings.

We searched the entire area, but she was nowhere to be found. Many friends, neighbours, and even the police joined in the search. I’m deeply grateful for everyone who responded, prayed, encouraged, and walked this anxious journey with us. I personally covered over 16 km on foot, going around the whole estate with growing concern and desperation.

Throughout the day, we prayed earnestly for God’s protection over her.

By God’s grace, at around 9 PM, someone found her—8 km away from home—and contacted the police. She was safe, unharmed, and alert. What a tremendous relief and an answer to prayer!

Thank You, Lord, for watching over her.

“He will cover you with His feathers, and under His wings you will find refuge; His faithfulness will be your shield and rampart.” — Psalm 91:4
