Children's Program
It was an exciting day.
First it was a 3 hr drive to visit Pst Soban’s church in a village in Assam. We
were there three years ago. A group of 60 people gathered for the morning
meeting. It was good to see the work expanding. His church building is too
small for the congregation and that is a happy problem. In addition Pst Soban
is running an English tuition center near his home.

He also
shared his plans of having a small medical clinic for the village. I was really
blessed to see how the work is expanding and the big vision Pst Soban has.
Next we went to PEC Romona
for the children’s program. About 100 children and 70 adults had gathered for
the program. The program was very interesting and captivated the children. The story by the Malaysian team was very
interesting, especially when the older team members were doing the acting. The
children also presented songs and dances and they did very well in spite of the
many limitations in the village.
After the children’s
program, we had a service for the adults. It was a gospel service as many of
the children’s parents had come to see the program. Pst Pathi shared the Word
and many responded to the message.
