From Rangpoo to Jaigaon

We left the hotel at 6:30 am. It was a long drive to Todey in West Bengal. The journey took us along mountain roads, which were narrow and rocky. There were no rail guards on most of the mountain roads in Sikkim and West Bengal and the drivers had to be very careful when negotiating corners. Some of the ladies in the team refused to open their eyes through these dangerous roads. But the Lord was good and He protected us.

We reached Pst Kamal’s church in Todey at about 12:45pm. We had a short service where Sis Catherine shared another testimony and Sis Josephine shared the Word. The last time we were here was about three years ago and the church has grown. They have a good worship team with instruments and the worship was lively. We rejoiced in our spirits to see the work of God in tis place. We thank God for faithful men who work tirelessly for His kingdom.

We took a picture at the same spot about three years ago. Praising God for another opportunity

After 4 hours, we finally reached Jaigaon. We had wifi connection and there were many miscalls from Jessica on watsapp. Jaya called her back and Jessica told us that she as been accepted for residency in emergency medicine in one of the hospitals in New York. Truly another amazing thing the Lord has done. To God be the glory.

Tomorrow is a busy day in the PEC Training Centre. Looking forward with great excitement.
