Update on Mission Trip to India

Finally having some time to put my thoughts together. We just finished the graduation service for both the Jaigaon and Assam training centres.

It was an historic moment as this is the first  batch of students from the Assam centre. Altogether 20 students graduated from the two centres. The program although much shorter than previous graduations,  was more dignified this time. I really prise God for all the students and especially for our sponsors and  PEC for their contributions to run this training. I pray that many of them will end up as church planters.
Sharing the Word at the gradation

Overall the trip has been challenging but exhilarating. We had three church dedications in Andhra Pradesh/Telangana. It was a joy to see how PEC church planters working hard in the field to bring the gospel to unreached areas.

We had one church dedication in Sikkim. His was in Four-Pole Village in Darjeeling. Pst Abishek and his wife Christine have planted a churhc here. More than 150 people gathered for the ceremony. I just can't describe the feeling on seeing thr church and all the people. They are also overseeing a school in that llace and that's a strtegy to bring peopel to Christ. Praise be to Jeusus our Lord.

We visited a home church in Chingrong, West Sikkim. The route to this place was very long and dangerous. We were hindered by many landslides. The narrow mud tracks were extremely slippery around the mountain edges and the drivers had to navigate carefully in the dark. A slight mistske would hurl us hundreds of feet down the ravine. It was truly Gid's protection thst keot us safe.

It was a joy to see work of Pst Bhim in this remote place. About 50 people are attending the Sunday service and they are presently using a believers house for the service. They need a church building soon.
