"I have engraved you on the palms of my hands"

Isaiah 48:15-18 - Message - “Can a mother forget the infant at her breast, walk away from the baby she bore? But even if mothers forget, I’d never forget you—never. Look, I’ve written your names on the backs of my ands.  The walls you’re rebuilding are never out of my sight. Your builders are faster than your wreckers. The demolition crews are gone for good. Look up, look around, look well! See them all gathering, coming to you?As sure as I am the living God”—God’s Decree  “you’re going to put them on like so much jewellery, you’re going to use them to dress up like a bride.

We have come to the end of Jan 16. This morning I spoke on the above passage, looking at how wonderful our God is; His love for us is incomparable. He has written PEC and everyone of His children in the palms of His hands and no gates of hell can destroy this church. Why? Because -
  • His affection for me is greater than any other
  • His attention for me is higher than any other
  • His attachment to me is closer than any other
  • His allegiance to me outweighs any other

God has indeed been faithful. January was a month of prayer. What a joy to see about 30 odd people coming every Mondays and Wednesdays, preparing for the big evangelistic effort. Most of them are the youths of PEC. We have never seen this before in PEC. February is set to usher in greater things for PEC. The walls we are building are never out of His sight.

He sees ‘things that are not, as though they were.’

The above scriptures have said, "demolition crews are gone for good". We will see builders from henceforth. People are going to come with different talents and abilities and we will built.  We are already seeing it happening. To God be the glory.
