Mission Field Visit Report – Koraput District, Odisha

Date of Visit: 7 Oct 25

Field Worker: CP Pintu Muduli
Submitted by: Bishop Anjan

Dear Sir,

Greetings in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.

We are glad to share with you the encouraging update from our recent visit to one of the new mission fields in the Koraput District. This village represents the fruit of one year of faithful labour by our Church Planter, CP. Pintu Muduli.

The journey to this remote village was quite challenging, as there is still no proper road access. We were only able to drive halfway and had to walk the rest of the distance on foot. Yet, every step was filled with anticipation and joy.

Upon reaching the village and meeting the people, our hearts were overwhelmed.  CP Pintu has stated a small fellowship and people are gathering worship Jesus as Lord. We were warmly welcomed by the villagers, and with great joy, compassion, and a sense of holy burden, we shared the Gospel with them. Their openness and response deeply encouraged us.

Bro. Pintu shared a practical need that could significantly impact the women in the village. He proposed starting a Tailoring Training Program, which would not only empower the women but also provide a sustainable livelihood for their families. We believe this initiative will also open more doors for Gospel engagement and community transformation.

We spent the whole day ministering, listening, and encouraging the people—and returned home filled with unspeakable joy and gratitude for what the Lord is doing in this remote area.

We thank you sincerely for your leadership, guidance, prayers and support. Without your partnership, it would be impossible to reach these unreached villages and respond to such pressing needs.

We invite you to continue praying for:

  • The spiritual growth of the new believers and seekers in this village
  • The establishment of the proposed Tailoring Training Centre
  • Provision for necessary resources, equipment, and trainers
  • Strength, health, and protection for CP Pintu Muduli and the team

God willing, we hope to take you to visit this place during your next visit. It would be a joy to witness together what the Lord is doing in Koraput.

Thank you once again for standing with us in this mission.

In His service,

Bishop Anjan
