 Blessing the Children of Rasoolpura – A Glimpse of God’s Love in Action

Every year, it is our joy to provide school bags and stationery to the children attending our Vidya Jyothi Free Education Centre, located in the heart of Rasoolpura’s slum community in Telangana. This year was no exception. With hearts full of love and a deep desire to reflect Christ’s compassion, we once again distributed these essential items—reminding the children that they are seen, valued, and loved.

The children who attend this centre come from some of the poorest homes in the area. Many of their families struggle daily to meet basic needs. Through the Vidya Jyothi Centre, they not only receive free tuition and academic support but also experience the practical love of Christ. In this way, we are fulfilling our calling to be the salt and light in places often forgotten by the world.

Bishop Nehemiah, who oversees the centre and serves the community faithfully, wrote the following note of appreciation:

"Dear Sir,
Please convey our heartfelt thanks to all the sponsors for their generous gifts to help the underprivileged children in our Vidya Jyothi Centre. The children have been truly blessed—they were excited and overjoyed to receive their new school bags and supplies.
May God bless the sponsors richly."

We echo his gratitude. To each of our sponsors and prayer partners, thank you for helping make this possible. Your giving is not just providing educational tools—it is sowing seeds of hope, dignity, and the love of Jesus into the lives of the next generation.

Psalms 44:6-7 - I put no trust in my bow, my sword does not bring me victory; but you give us victory over our enemies, you put our adversaries to shame. Any soldier will know that the basic weapon of warfare, in those days, were the bow and sword. Without which no soldier will not venture into the battle field. Even the famed Goliath was geared in full battle order when he faced David with the stones and the sling. Isn't it a paradox then that David, one of the finest soldiers Israel had ever produced, proclaims that its not the bow and the sword that gives the victory. Its is the Lord, Jehovah, that gives the victory. I don't think David is trying to say that we should not prepare ourselves for warfare. His concern is that we recognize that ultimately its the Lord that gives the victory. 25th Wedding Annivesary - Silver Jubilee

11-1-11 - 25th Wedding Anniversary. Today my wife and I celebrate our Silver Jubilee, 25 years of being married together. How time flies. I look out of the window, the weather reminiscent of the day we got married. It was raining the whole day and so is today. How appropriate. Praise God for His faithfulness in our lives and for the blessings He has given us. Lam 3:22-23 - Because of the LORD’s great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness. It has been a wonderful journey. Yes there were disagreements, quarrels, desperation and even "fights" but through it all, our love has grown stronger for the Lord , for the family, for the ministry and for one another.
