Church Camp - Port Dickson
Jeya and I were invited to speak at City Tabernacle KL Church Camp in Port Dickson from 9-11 Feb. We decided to drive up this time and thank God there was no traffic jam at the causeway. The drive was pretty smooth and pleasant and we arrived at the Methodist Centre, PD, on good time.
The theme of the camp was Living Epistles based on 2 Cor 3:2-3. We were greeted by the camp organising committee and by Senior Pastor Arnold Rajan and his wife Pst Santanna. Their son, Pst Matthias, was the one who invited us for the camp. He heard me during one of the pastors conference we spoke at in KL, two years ago. A young man with great potential and serves God with great humility, a quality much lacking in many pastors today.
I was deeply impressed by the exceptional hospitality extended by the people. Approximately 180 individuals attended the camp, the majority of whom were young adults. I was pleasantly surprised by their high level of education and technological proficiency, which rivals, if not surpasses, that of many churches in Singapore. The camp's organization was outstanding, leaving me genuinely amazed by the meticulous planning and execution. Even the young were so respectful and courteous. Almost everyone was offering to carry our luggages.
City Tabernacle KL has successfully planted five branch churches across Malaysia, all of which were represented at the camp. I conducted three sessions where the Spirit of the Lord moved powerfully. The translators, who were young and highly fluent in both English and Tamil, did an exceptional job.
During the final service, many campers came forward, kneeling in God’s presence, seeking a personal encounter with the Lord. We could sense the tangible presence of God in the house. I was profoundly grateful to witness how God moved throughout the camp.
Many participants shared how they were blessed by the sessions and how the Lord touched them in a truly remarkable way. This church wants to plant churches in all the states in Malaysia. Senior Pastor Arnold Rajan and his wife Pst Santanna have such humble spirit and have done much for the Kingdom. Truly remarkable servants of God.
We were refreshed and recharged after the camp. Returned home sagely with great memories and motivated to do more for the Kingdom. I am really thankful to the Lord to be a small instrument in His hands to impact these people for His Kingdom. To God be the glory.
