Visiting PEC churches in Telangana

Yesterday we visited two churches in remote villages in Badrachalam. It was long travel but the roads were good for most part of the journey. It was good to see how the work of church planting is multiplying through the word of the church planters.

After the second service which ended about 9PM, we travelled through forest tracks, wild life sanctuaries, in the dark. There was almost no sign of life on most part of this route. This was mostly Naxalite controlled (guerrilla insurgency group) areas and we thank God that we travelled without any problems. After 2 hrs we arrived at our hotel at Kohagudam at about 11 pm. Hotel rooms were derisory but we thank God that we can take a shower and rest for the night. Dinner was biscuits and fruits as all the shops in this small town were closed.

Today we had two church dedications. This was PEC's 179th and 180th buildings in the mission field. What a joy to dedicate churches
after more than 2 and 1/2 years. Most important the work done by the Cps to extend the Kingdom of God in remote places is a great accomplishment to end gospel poverty in this region.
