A tiring but fruitful day

Today we visited the first PEC church that was dedicated in Nakrekal, Telangana in Feb 2006. It was about 3 hrs drive from Hyderabad and thank God, the roads were good. What a joy to be back here again! The place has developed too. I remember in 2006, there were chickens all over the place and even in the church during service. But God s good and the Lord has blessed the work.

As a result 12 other churches have been established. Rev Albert Pang shred the Word in this place. Much gratitude to Bishop Nehemiah and Pst Hannock for their tireless work in the field. To God be the glory.

From there we visited another PEC church in Nagarjun Sagar, Nalagonda. Again it was a long drive to this place but the sights were quite scenic, especially near the Nagarjun Sagar dam, across the Krishna River.

The church is being run by Sis Esther. Her husband, Pst Stephen, passed away last  year due to Covid. Pst Stephen was a good man and he will always be there whenever we visited Telangana. About 20 people were gathered for the prayer meeting and this was again another very emotional service for me. Sis Esther has no children but she is overseeing two churches. In spite of the fact that she has lost her husband, she is still faithfully and serving the Lord with all her heart. This young lady needs our prayer and financial support.
