Odisha - Day 2

Today also we visited three churches. It was again long travel in the forest in Rayagada District. No phone connection in these areas.
The first stop was at a village called Gutagudi, pastored by our church planter Pst Bhima. More than 150 had gathered for the meeting and they had been waiting for more than 2 hrs for our arrival. I was told that the whole village had come to accept Christ. This was such exhilarating news. In a state where're there is an anti-conversion law, the Lord is saving souls in an unprecedented way. They sang and worshiped from their hearts. They listened carefully to the Word and were in reverence during the time of prayer. I was simply overjoyed. The whole village coming to know the Lord. what a joy.
The second meeting was also in an open area, about an hour form the first. This is all in the remote places in the forest. This village is called Nehuruponga. The CP here is Pst Tibidi. He is doing an excellent work in spite of many challengers. What I see if the faithfulness of these CPs in spite of the many challenges they face. They are so motivated and full of passion and full of Christ. We prayed for almost everyone.

In the evening we had a another meeting. There was a grand welcome ceremony of drums and dancing on the road. Pst Gobinda's church is really growing. More than 150 people gathered in the open space. The worship was heavenly and there was a mighty move of the Holy Spirit during the meeting. It appeared as though the meeting will not end as the people were weeping in the presence of the Lord. Many were set free from demon possession. But we had to move on as we had about 2 hrs to travel to reach Bissamcuttack. Although tired, the "joy the Lord was my strength".
Long journey back in total darkness in the forest but it was worth it. All these churches need a building urgently
