PEC Church Planters Retreat in Yangon
It was a jerky start in the morning. Pst Pathi called about 5:00AM from KLIA to inform that he has not applied for the visa and that he will have to reschedule his flight.
I was the first to arrive in Yangon at about 9AM, followed by Bro Victor and his wife Sharon. Rev Tissa and his wife arrived at about 11:15 PM. It was a great joy to meet Rev Tissa. In spite of his age and medical condition, he still goes around sharing the love of Jesus. He was really humble enough to accept the invitation to speak to our church planters, about 30 of them.
It was a grand opening today. Both the new batch of church planters and BTh students were welcomed at the ceremony. The sining ws vibrant and I shared about PEC church planting efforts in the mission field.
Re Tissa shared the words. He really encouraged and challenged all the students by his testimonies and with the Word of God taken from Isaiah 32.
A lovely dinner was prepared in MTC's kitchen and I am back now in my room and can't wait to see what God has in store for us tomorrow.
