Filed trip to Kandamal District

We visited two church planters' work in Kandamal District. Both the churches were in remote places in forested areas.  Previously most of the journey was on sand tracks but this time much of the tracks were repaired and paved with tar. So it was quite comfortable travelling. We traveled about 2 hrs from Muniguda and arrived at the first church in Sandipada. The church planter here is Pst Swadina. About 50 people gathered in a small house for the meeting. It was a good work in this distant place.

In the afternoon we visited Pst Kuntan's church in Sintupadi. The roads here were bad and we had to track the hills by motorbikes. I was humbled to see this work. It was in a very remote place and deep in the forest. Yet the couch planters have made their way there to share the gospel and many are coming to the Lord. We left the place, again on motorbikes and transferred to our car when the roads were better.

Late in the evening, we visited the Jeevan Jothi work in Muniguda. More than 50 children were there. They performed song and recital items for us. Bro Ajit shared a story with the kids. It was heartening to know that church with about 25 people has started in that place as a result of this tuition program. To God be the glory.
