Discovering New York

Jeya and I spent the last two days discovering New York. Jessica had to work so we were on our own. We finally get to be alone together, without the disturbance of anyone,  We took the subway and visited a few places. Yesterday we walked on the Brooklyn Bridge. Spectacular view of the city from the Bridge. Weather was quite pleasant.

Beautiful view from Brooklyn Bridge. Being kids again
But we were quite saddened with what we witnessed in this city. Near North Harlem, it was littered and people so rude and valour. Even in the trains, teenagers, both boys and girls, were using swearing words and vulgarities. I was like...OMG, what is happening in this place. This nation needs Jesus more than India or China. The "four-letter"word was like "please or thank you" here. Just can't believe it. At least we are more civilised back in Singapore.
