Saturday evening service in Jakarta

Saturday evening, I spoke in a IES Taman Pelem, a branch church o fInternational English Service is a part of the Gereja Sidang-Sidang Jemaat Allah di Indonesia (Assemblies of God of Indonesia). About 70 people gathered for the service, most of the  working in Indonesia.  Pst Tommy is also a Filipino, who also works for Habitat international.

I spoke on the obligation for missions and many responded to the message. Praise God.

Group picture with the leaders. Men with great vision and passion for the Lord. Pst Tommy (on my right) really humbled me. He has a full time job and yet has time to plant a church in that community. We need more people like him.

After the service Pst Tommy treated  us for a truly traditional Javanese dinner in a nearby restaurant. Singaporeans will certainly go crazy at that place. Praise God for the opportunity to minister to these foreigners in a foreign land. I was blessed.
