A poem for the weary
Sometimes I feel like giving up.
Life's too painful to bear
Relationships sour, burdens heavy, trials too hash even to share
But when I looked at Him who bore my sorrows,
my sins, my shame and all my tomorrows
A reflection suddenly appears
If He could do this all for me
When its I who should have been there
My turmoils became suddenly so shallow
In His sacrificial loving care
There left only one thing for me
In all my trials and despair
I worship His Majesty
And surrender to His divine flair
Life's too painful to bear
Relationships sour, burdens heavy, trials too hash even to share
But when I looked at Him who bore my sorrows,
my sins, my shame and all my tomorrows
A reflection suddenly appears
If He could do this all for me
When its I who should have been there
My turmoils became suddenly so shallow
In His sacrificial loving care
There left only one thing for me
In all my trials and despair
I worship His Majesty
And surrender to His divine flair
